Brinja is working with creating the security and data collection platform for construction sites. The system is present on the construction sites in the form of our Core and Node IoT devices to provide unique and life saving services such as a proven evacuation system and quality measurements. This is possible through our custom device firmware with a custom radio communication protocol tailored to the harsh and ever changing environments found on these sites. And now you have the opportunity to be part of our embedded team to develop and quality ensure these systems keep saving lives in the construction industry!
What we are looking for
We are looking for a passionate embedded developer that will expand and complement our already talented team. While we are a growing company, we still have the fast prototyping and engaged development you will find in startups. This means you will have to work with the team, but also be given a lot of individual responsibility to fulfill, adapt, evaluate and follow up on the delivered product.
The position gives you the unique opportunity to work on the embedded system on several custom hardwares, and also given influence in the entire system development from user interaction, to the cloud backend and down to the hardware.
What we expect you to work with
While a wide general knowledge of different areas of development related to IoT, such as graphical design, mobile, fleet management systems and backend development is of course of merit, this application is primarily aimed at real time embedded C and C++ development on ARM and MSP430 microcontrollers. We work with safety system, meaning security, performance and reliability is of high importance. Hence we expect you to have good knowledge and practical experience with threaded RTOS.
It is expected that you have previous experience with embedded development, both professional and/or hobby. We value passion for embedded and electronics, knowledge and practical know-how a lot, we really cannot emphasize it enough. If you have either professional or hobby work that you can share and/or present to strengthen that you have the ability to work on this type of real time embedded systems, then feel free to share them and will benefit your application.
